THE DIVERSE SLIP DRESS

I love how incredibly diverse a slip dress can be and this one has, without a doubt, been one of my best buys last year. You can use it on its own, with tees and shirts under it or a chunky knit layered on top. The possibilities are endless. However, this was how I styled it for the second day of LFW. Very simple, but still with a pop of color. As I have mentioned before I’m really getting into the colored stockings trend. They just spice things up a bit.

The weather that day was absolutely incredible. It felt like Spring already as the sun was really powerful and warming. That also meant that the lighting was really good so I am very happy about how the pictures turned out (if I’m allowed to give myself and my dear friend Susanna some credit). I hope you are all well! xx

GINGHAM GOING ON

Another fashion week is on its last legs and it has been a great experience once again. This city is always buzzing but it’s still amazing to see how an event like this can tranform the city in a way that is best described as a bit over the top. This is definitely meant in a good way as I love how inspired I always feel after fashion week. It gives me an urge to work harder and push myself to pursue my goals.

As for this outfit it was what I wore on the first day of LFW. Gingham isn’t dead at all!

If you want to see what I was up to during fashion week you can check out my Instagram here. It includes an amazing graduate show, vegan burgers and a visit to the Mulberry presentation.

A LONDON FASHION WEEK REFLECTION

It is already a week since fashion week ended here in London. Everything is so fast paced at the moment that I barely can keep up with it (in a good way though). I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Theo Vii Studio show. The collection was brilliant. Everything that I love from the loose fitted silhouettes to the soft blue tones and the creamy whites. I definitely believe it is a brand to keep an eye on.

When it comes to dressing for fashion week I always believe that what I wear should reflect who I am and how my style is. So I decided to combine all of my favorite elements. The mix of the colors and the different types of stripes really made me fall in love with the outfit. And of course I paired it with sneakers. These are actually quite new and I love them unbelievable much. The perfect pair for all the long walks we are doing whilst we stay in London.

Copenhagen Fashion Week has just ended and this is what I wore on the first day. I was lucky enough to see the Lala Berlin show and it was such a beautiful show. I have only praising words for Leyla Piedayesh and what she has created. Bravo!

BY MALENE BIRGER SS16

Malenebirger_collage_3Malenebirger_collage_4My favorite collection from the shows during Copenhagen Fashion Week last week must be By Malene Birger. I didn’t see the show, unfortunetaly, but I have been looking at the pictures afterwards. The colour palette is right after my taste, and the cuts and the lines are so beautiful. The materials also look great, and I definitely have to take a closer look at the collection, when it hits stores next year.
