I’m heavily into candy stripes, velour bags and chunky sneakers (or should I call them trainers by know?) as you can probably tell from the above.
The bag is from the amazing brand Staud which I recently discovered probably through Lucy Williams (aka. Fashion Me Now) as everything she mentions is gorgeous. Literally. They make amazing bags (you have most likely already seen the “plant pot in the fishnet”) but also their clothing collection is worth taking a look at.

Even though the calender tells me it’s March I am walking around huming to all of the classic Christmas songs. Why couldn’t all of this snow fall in December? That being said I am one of those annoying people who thoroughly enjoy the snow whenever it decides to arrive. So for this month’s wish list I am both looking forward to Spring but also acknowledging the fact that it’s absolutely freezing outside. Brrr.

I can’t believe it’s already a new month! Soon it will be Spring and I’m really longing for some sunshine and a little bit of warmth. This look has plenty of warm tones and I especially fell in love with this yellow Simon Miller bag. Isn’t it just beautiful? If the sun doesn’t show soon this would be the next best thing to shine for me.

Polka dots, stripes & statement earrings are all I want right now and why not all of the above at once? I am beginning to get much more into mixing of different prints instead of always wearing plain-colored clothing items. It is such a fun way to spice things up a bit and something I definitely need to do more. The earrings are from the extremely talented jewelry designer Nina Kastens. All the jewelry pieces she makes are gorgeous and this pair is no exception.

It’s already August and soon it will be autumn… but first lets enjoy the fact that it’s still summer. This time of the year I always try to find some more transitional pieces that work in (almost) all kinds of weather. A pair of cropped woolen trousers paired with black kitten heels (which I used to hate but now love) seem to be a perfect combo for the following month or two while we wait for it to become more sweater appropriate weather. I must admit that I’m a bit excited for fall to come. It just is the best season when it comes to clothes (one word: layering!). Speaking of exciting things to come this bag from Marni is a ‘coming soon’ item on Matchesfashion. Such a gorgeous clean white color and a beautiful detail with the round top handle. It’s a winner!
Orange is definitely the color of the season (just like yellow was last summer). It is the perfect subtle orange. Not to bright or neon. Ganni has just released their pre-fall collection and oh my it is beautiful and it contains a lot of orange pieces. I imagine wearing the sweater on a chilly summer night while watching the sun go down in the horizon. I wouldn’t mind bringing it with me this summer holiday where I will spend a lot of my time in the family summerhouse by the sea.
As you might have seen as well the espadrilles have got a serious comeback this season. They are everywhere at the moment (a long side its fellow buddy the ever-so-chic straw bag). I really need to get myself a pair as soon as possible (or should I say as soon as my bank account allows me, yep I have definitely had a ‘feeling spendy’ moment lately, ups).
