IT’S TIME TO GET A SWEATER ON

…and I kind of love it. It is that time of the year again. The time where you want to snuggle up in a big jumper but at the same time get the post summer blues. I always feel that way in September. It is also the month where you feel the weather is really schizophrenic and you have absolutely no idea if you need a gigantic knit or if you can get away with bare legs. September is just an on going love-hate relationship.

It is also the time of the year when I can finally wear my beloved Acne Pistol boots again. It really is a classic and I wear them season upon season. The blazer is a new addition to my wardrobe as I bought it a couple up weeks ago. The perfect combination of two of my latest obsessions; red (and blue) and checks.

LONDON HERE I AM

Top Topshop// Trousers Mango// Shoes Acne Studios// Bag Céline// Necklace Jane Kønig

Exciting things are happening at the moment. I have moved to London for the next 4,5 months with my dear friend Malene to study one semester of Fashion Media & Communication at London College of Fashion. I am so bloody excited about it (and a bit nervous too to be honest). Luckily we have a good three weeks until school starts to settle in and explore the neighborhood and the rest of this lovely city. We are staying in a small studio flat in Kensington which is definitely one of my favorite areas of London but I am also determined to widen my horizon and explore new areas (I still haven’t been south of the Thames).

We shot the pictures yesterday (which were a bit gloomy but nowhere near how terrible the weather is today) in South Kensington. The blouse from Topshop I had just purchased the day before after hunting down one of the last ones in my size (it is unfortunately sold out on their website) and I’m so glad I did that. It is just such a good combination of the wrap trend, dots and pleats. It is a bit cropped but paired with black high-waisted trousers and black boots it makes your legs seem very long.

JUMPING INTO SPRING

Knit Cos// Skirt Designers Remix// Boots Acne // Bag Céline

There is something about spring and skirts. It is just a bit more weather appropriate to wear them when the first signs of spring show (at least when we talk about the thin and flowy ones). This ruffled skirt, which I bought back in January (when it was still cold and miserable), has finally seen the daylight. As the ruffle trend is still going strong I know this is going to be a stable piece of mine this season.

HELLO STOCKHOLM

Blouse Cos// Bag Céline// Trousers Mango (similar)// Shoes Acne// Watch Daniel Wellington

We just arrived in Stockholm the other day and so far I am very impressed by the city. The weather could be better though (snow is never fun in March). I’m wearing a very simple and minimalistic outfit, very Scandinavian really (and very appropriate for a stroll around Stockholm).

LEATHER & CAMEL

Leather jacket Zara// Knit Cos// Trousers Monki (similar)// Shoes Acne (similar)// Bag Balenciaga

You can really feel spring coming now! Finally it is warm enough to wear just a leather jacket (I have been waiting for this moment for ages). I am going to Stockholm on sunday and I think it is going to be a little chilly if I only wear a leather jacket though. Then I have to find my coat again hopefully for the last time this season! Btw if you have any recommendations for Stockholm feel free to write a comment.

Yes I might be back in Copenhagen but I left my heart in London. This city is so amazing, that I have no words for it. I have seen so many beautiful places, but London might take the first place (or maybe the second right after Paris).

This outfit was perfect for strolling around in the streets of London. The sun was out most of the time, but it was a bit chilly anyway. My new knitted dress from Acne was definitely a lifesavior as it is both warm and comfortable.

STAYING WARM IN THE COLD

Sweater Zara// Skirt Zara// Scarf Acne// Bag Balenciaga// Shoes Acne

Right now it is freezing cold outside, which means my new scarf from Acne is a lifesaver. Together with a very simple black and grey outfit the scarf makes a huge difference and gives the outfit some sort of color (if you can call camel a color?). I’m sure this won’t be the last time I will wear it.
