Right now is the best time to go in to the woods to explore all the beautiful colors that nature has on offer. When the weather is as nice as it was this Monday I really enjoy walking in the parks. It always calms me down if I am a bit unsettled or stressed out.

Lately I haven’t been wearing much else than this khaki green sweater from Arket. It is incredibly soft, warm and cosy! The type of sweater you just want to snuggle into in front of the fireplace with a warm cup of tea in your hand. I found these somewhat matching tights when I went to Paris. I think it’s nice to wear something else than black tights for once.

I have just returned with the Eurostar back to London from an amazing five days in Paris. Oh, how I love that city! This time around it was part of my studies at London College of Fashion, but that didn’t make the trip any worse. We were lucky enough to experience some good weather the first days, which meant one thing: coffee & croissants on a sidewalk café! I also discovered the brand Oxyde after visiting their store on Rue de Charonne and I was pleasantly surprised about their selection of clothing items. How can I never have heard about this brand before??! Of course, I didn’t walk out of there empty handed.

Besides some really good shopping and food experiences I also visited a couple of exhibitions that are worth mentioning. The first one was Claude Monet’s water lilies at the Musée de l’Orangerie. I love the simplicity of the paintings and the way they are exhibited in these light, oval shaped rooms. The second exhibition we visited was the Christian Dior, Couturier du Rêve at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. It is by far the most grandiose exhibition I have ever seen and truly an amazing experience (despite the many people).

It is supposed to be summer but honestly the weather doesn’t scream summer to me. Instead I’m thinking more about knits and fury stuff. But maybe it fits quite well since the fashion industry always is at least one season ahead. It’s okay as autumn is definitely one of my favorite seasons (alongside summer, spring and winter… yep I can’t decide).

Although it is cheaper to shop for all the latest fall trends in the high street shops, I still believe it is important to invest in some nice quality items too. These are some of my favorite items for the autumn and I would love to spend money on these beautiful items. I actually really need a classic black turtleneck…

I promised you to show an outfit with my new knit/sweater, whatever you want to call it, so here it is. It is a very neutral toned outfit, but I love these kind of colors in the fall. Actually the colors of nature are reflected in the autumn fashion (or any other season really), and that might be one of the reasons why I love fall so much.

Sorry for being inactive on the blog lately, but I have been so lucky to get a cold (read the irony). This outfit is from last week, and my friend and I were lucky enough to get some shots when it was still dry weather (it was pouring down rain minutes after).

The outfit was yet again very simple. Just some blue tones and a pair of heeled boots and I am good to go!

I think fall is my favorite season clothing wise. And every year I fall in love with all the beautiful colors (both in nature and clothes). This season I have to buy something midnight blue and something camel toned (great to have a goal when you are out shopping). And of course I have to buy a new cosy sweater (although I just bought two!).
