SNAPSHOTS FROM MY LAST WEEK IN LONDON

Lastweek_London_01

I have a ton of pictures on my phone of this beautiful cherry blossom tree that lives close to my home during my stay in London. I could follow the development every day. This is what makes Spring one of the best times of the year. When everything is blooming it makes you so optimistic and excited for all the new things to come.

The weather also started to feel like Spring. On this particular day it was 19 degrees Celcius. Here, I’m enjoying a iced latte at Wulf & Lamb near Sloane Square.

Again this picture was taken on a day where the weather was absolutely incredible. Malene came to visit me and we just enjoyed the sunshine in Holland Park and ate fresh fruit and guacamole.

On our last evening in London we decided to walk all the way through Hyde Park before heading to dinner in Mayfair. It was such a treat to see a sunset like that.

We also did a bit of shopping (even though I’m always trying not to). I bought this beautiful blazer from Urban Outfitters. It is very lightweight and perfect for Spring and Summer.

I also had a little “fika” with my Swedish girls at Fabrique (which is a Swedish bakery chain). This place makes the best cinnamon buns. I will miss these girls so much (but hey now I just have an excuse to come to Sweden more often)!

Another pretty corner in London. I swear I have at least a 1,000 of these kind of pictures in my camera roll.

NOVEMBER WISH LIST

It seems that all I have on my mind at the moment are checks and corduroy! It is without a doubt my favorite trends for this season. This light green pair of corduroy trousers goes very well with the darker blue tones for a more colorful autumn outfit.

Jacket Lovechild 1979

Earrings Ippolita

Mittens Isabel Marant

Bag Mansur Gavriel

Trousers Isabel Marant

Boots Gianvitto Rossi

DOWN TO EARTH

Knit Proenza Schouler// Trousers Lovechild 1979// Necklace Hvisk// Boots Acne Studios

I truly love the matchy-matchy tones, which have been trending for a long time now. We have seen them all. Blues, pinks etc. But when you get tired off floating on a pink cloud it is about time to get down to earth again. Nothing beats the earthy and beige tones. They will (hopefully) always be in style. Combined with checks and a pair of pointy ankle boots it is a match made in heaven.
