I have noticed that I have worn a lot of blue and red combined lately. And why not? It’s a damn good combination and relatively fail safe. The new thing is the very bright tights that bring it all to life. It is such an easy and inexpensive way to wear more colour.

ESCAPING THE FREEZING COLD

As many of you might already know I am at home visiting family and friends in Copenhagen. It is so nice to be back despite the absolutely freezing cold (temperatures dropped to -8 yesterday). It’s a bit of a change compared to London weather (though most Londoners complain about the “cold” weather all the time). We decided to escape the freeze by walking into Glyptoteket. I love the architecture of this place and the palm trees in the middle makes you think of summer. When you are away from your home town for a long period of time it makes you appreciate the city even more when you get back. I feel like I have fallen in love with Copenhagen all over again and though I love London and it feels like home to me now I don’t mind moving back in 1.5 month.

EXTRA LONG SLEEVES

If you have just as long arms as I do you now the never ending problem with long sleeved shirts being too short very well. The best solution to the problem is shirts with extra long sleeves. When the elongated sleeves and the bell sleeves became a trend for the first time I remember thinking how ridiculous they were. How was it possible to eat without dipping you sleeve on the dinner plate? But despite being impractical from time to time the extra long sleeves do look good and they also save me from a lot of shirts that just don’t fit me very well. Long live the extra long sleeved shirts!

KHAKI GREEN & CHECKS

Right now is the best time to go in to the woods to explore all the beautiful colors that nature has on offer. When the weather is as nice as it was this Monday I really enjoy walking in the parks. It always calms me down if I am a bit unsettled or stressed out.

Lately I haven’t been wearing much else than this khaki green sweater from Arket. It is incredibly soft, warm and cosy! The type of sweater you just want to snuggle into in front of the fireplace with a warm cup of tea in your hand. I found these somewhat matching tights when I went to Paris. I think it’s nice to wear something else than black tights for once.

A LONDON FASHION WEEK REFLECTION

It is already a week since fashion week ended here in London. Everything is so fast paced at the moment that I barely can keep up with it (in a good way though). I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Theo Vii Studio show. The collection was brilliant. Everything that I love from the loose fitted silhouettes to the soft blue tones and the creamy whites. I definitely believe it is a brand to keep an eye on.

When it comes to dressing for fashion week I always believe that what I wear should reflect who I am and how my style is. So I decided to combine all of my favorite elements. The mix of the colors and the different types of stripes really made me fall in love with the outfit. And of course I paired it with sneakers. These are actually quite new and I love them unbelievable much. The perfect pair for all the long walks we are doing whilst we stay in London.
