I know we get older all the time but every year my birthday still takes me by surprise. This year is no exception and the fact that I’m in London only makes it easier to forget it. But today is the day and I’m turning 21. It feels good to get older (I feel like most people feel like that when they’re in their early 20s) and I feel like I have matured a lot over the past year. I know age is more a state of mind but it can still be nice to say that I’m 21!
The pictures are from the other day when I was walking around Mayfair and Soho with Emilie. And once again I was wearing my beloved blazer from Sandro (which is actually on sale right now). I hope you’re not already sick of seeing it because I promise you it won’t be the last time!

Some shots of my outfit I wore the other day where we went to see Tate Modern. It’s a enormous old power station turned into a modern art museum which give a special architectural feel. There are so many floors and exhibitions that you can easily get lost and it would take hours upon hours to see it all. If you do get the chance to visit make sure to get to the top floor which has one the best views of London.
You have probably seen me wearing this blazer a serious amount of times already but I simply can’t put it down. It is one of those pieces that just make you feel good as soon as you put it on. I love the combination of stripes & checks. I think it looks great when prints & patterns clash a bit without it being too much.

I have just returned with the Eurostar back to London from an amazing five days in Paris. Oh, how I love that city! This time around it was part of my studies at London College of Fashion, but that didn’t make the trip any worse. We were lucky enough to experience some good weather the first days, which meant one thing: coffee & croissants on a sidewalk café! I also discovered the brand Oxyde after visiting their store on Rue de Charonne and I was pleasantly surprised about their selection of clothing items. How can I never have heard about this brand before??! Of course, I didn’t walk out of there empty handed.
Besides some really good shopping and food experiences I also visited a couple of exhibitions that are worth mentioning. The first one was Claude Monet’s water lilies at the Musée de l’Orangerie. I love the simplicity of the paintings and the way they are exhibited in these light, oval shaped rooms. The second exhibition we visited was the Christian Dior, Couturier du Rêve at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. It is by far the most grandiose exhibition I have ever seen and truly an amazing experience (despite the many people).

…and I kind of love it. It is that time of the year again. The time where you want to snuggle up in a big jumper but at the same time get the post summer blues. I always feel that way in September. It is also the month where you feel the weather is really schizophrenic and you have absolutely no idea if you need a gigantic knit or if you can get away with bare legs. September is just an on going love-hate relationship.
It is also the time of the year when I can finally wear my beloved Acne Pistol boots again. It really is a classic and I wear them season upon season. The blazer is a new addition to my wardrobe as I bought it a couple up weeks ago. The perfect combination of two of my latest obsessions; red (and blue) and checks.

It was sort of love at first sight when I came across this beautiful wine-burgundy colored bag at my latest online shopping trip. I do love a bit of online shopping and it can sometimes be a bit of a weakness though a have to say that I am a very organized shopper who rarely do impulse buying. I am more the type who considers everything for too long until it’s all gone. This was no exception. I saw it online and debated with myself back and forth if I should really buy it. Then I saw a girl on the tube wearing this bag (and at this point I hadn’t even seen it in real life as I couldn’t find it in any stores across London) and then I just knew I had to click it home. A massive thank you to that girl as I truly love it!
