I have a ton of pictures on my phone of this beautiful cherry blossom tree that lives close to my home during my stay in London. I could follow the development every day. This is what makes Spring one of the best times of the year. When everything is blooming it makes you so optimistic and excited for all the new things to come.
The weather also started to feel like Spring. On this particular day it was 19 degrees Celcius. Here, I’m enjoying a iced latte at Wulf & Lamb near Sloane Square.
Again this picture was taken on a day where the weather was absolutely incredible. Malene came to visit me and we just enjoyed the sunshine in Holland Park and ate fresh fruit and guacamole.
On our last evening in London we decided to walk all the way through Hyde Park before heading to dinner in Mayfair. It was such a treat to see a sunset like that.

We also did a bit of shopping (even though I’m always trying not to). I bought this beautiful blazer from Urban Outfitters. It is very lightweight and perfect for Spring and Summer.
I also had a little “fika” with my Swedish girls at Fabrique (which is a Swedish bakery chain). This place makes the best cinnamon buns. I will miss these girls so much (but hey now I just have an excuse to come to Sweden more often)!
Another pretty corner in London. I swear I have at least a 1,000 of these kind of pictures in my camera roll.
A good pair of jeans and a nice colored or printed shirt have over time become my everyday uniform. I basically live in my jeans. They are such a good stable to have and just like a canvas you can color on top of them. I never used to wear blue jeans before I found these ones from Levi’s. It’s a vintage pair I bought in Amsterdam last summer. They have the perfect wash and fit which are probably the two things that matters the most when you’re looking for a nice pair of jeans.
As I have told you before I almost always find my shirts in vintage stores or on the markets. It’s like going on a treasure hunt. This one I only payed 5 £ for. Not bad at all.

Now when the semester is about to come to an end I can really start to feel the pressure. We only have two weeks left until graduation and a million things to do before then. On top of that I am working on my entrance assignment for KEA (Copenhagen School of Design & Technology). It’s a lot of things going on at once. It’s not a pressure that someone else puts on me it’s just myself. I am sure a lot of you know the exact feeling. I just want to do good. Not for others but for myself.
Sometimes putting a lot of pressure on yourself can be your own worst enemy. I have learned over the years that taking a mental as well as a physical break from things can be really beneficial. Just to think about something else for a moment. Do something good for yourself. Usually I go for a long walk, go to the gym or meet a friend for a coffee. Today I decided to take a little time to myself. I went for a short walk and then grabbed a coffee and a croissant at my local bakery. There I just sat for an hour reading in my favorite magazine and forgot about the rest. You leave feeling energized (not just from the coffee) and motivated to go back to work.
I was actually reading an interview with Allison Janney and I just found her career and life story very inspiring. “I’m so proud to be able to say it, and I’m going to say it right here: I’m Allison Janney, and I’m an actress. She tells me it was her first time she truly felt comfortable claiming her profession out loud.” Don’t be scared to dream big and be proud of every achievement you reach along the way. Small victories are also victories. We should all remember to be proud of ourselves and praise ourselves a little more often.
I have noticed that I have worn a lot of blue and red combined lately. And why not? It’s a damn good combination and relatively fail safe. The new thing is the very bright tights that bring it all to life. It is such an easy and inexpensive way to wear more colour.

Well it’s supposed to be Spring but at the moment Spring feels very far away. Knitwear are still a necessity. This slightly chunky knit is all I need right now. Living in the UK/Denmark they can be very good to have all year round. I am not complaining though. Knitwear is my favourite wear. I imagine sitting on the beach on a summer evening wearing a blue striped skirt with this white knit thrown over. I am keeping that thought in mind while it’s currently drizzling with snow outside my window.

Even though the calender tells me it’s March I am walking around huming to all of the classic Christmas songs. Why couldn’t all of this snow fall in December? That being said I am one of those annoying people who thoroughly enjoy the snow whenever it decides to arrive. So for this month’s wish list I am both looking forward to Spring but also acknowledging the fact that it’s absolutely freezing outside. Brrr.

I can’t believe it’s already a new month! Soon it will be Spring and I’m really longing for some sunshine and a little bit of warmth. This look has plenty of warm tones and I especially fell in love with this yellow Simon Miller bag. Isn’t it just beautiful? If the sun doesn’t show soon this would be the next best thing to shine for me.
