Well it’s supposed to be Spring but at the moment Spring feels very far away. Knitwear are still a necessity. This slightly chunky knit is all I need right now. Living in the UK/Denmark they can be very good to have all year round. I am not complaining though. Knitwear is my favourite wear. I imagine sitting on the beach on a summer evening wearing a blue striped skirt with this white knit thrown over. I am keeping that thought in mind while it’s currently drizzling with snow outside my window.

I started the week with taking some time for myself. It is so important to just switch off once in a while. Currently reading Rupi Kaur’s second poetry collection (because I couldn’t get hold off the first one). I highly recommend it!
Then I met with Malene for a coffee and a croissant at Hotel Sanders. I was very into the coffee as you can probably tell from the picture.
I also got time to catch up with my good friend Cecilie, whom I met at London College of Fashion. She recently moved to Copenhagen so I will hopefully see her a lot more when I’m returning from London in April.
A gorgeous colour combination in central Copenhagen. I’ve spent a lot of time the last week just walking around enjoying the city.
Another coffee date with Malene. This time after attending KEA connect (open house). Crossing my fingers that I will get in this summer!

I also had time to pay a visit at Glyptoteket. It was very busy that day but I managed to take a picture without anyone in it.
Even though the calender tells me it’s March I am walking around huming to all of the classic Christmas songs. Why couldn’t all of this snow fall in December? That being said I am one of those annoying people who thoroughly enjoy the snow whenever it decides to arrive. So for this month’s wish list I am both looking forward to Spring but also acknowledging the fact that it’s absolutely freezing outside. Brrr.

As many of you might already know I am at home visiting family and friends in Copenhagen. It is so nice to be back despite the absolutely freezing cold (temperatures dropped to -8 yesterday). It’s a bit of a change compared to London weather (though most Londoners complain about the “cold” weather all the time). We decided to escape the freeze by walking into Glyptoteket. I love the architecture of this place and the palm trees in the middle makes you think of summer. When you are away from your home town for a long period of time it makes you appreciate the city even more when you get back. I feel like I have fallen in love with Copenhagen all over again and though I love London and it feels like home to me now I don’t mind moving back in 1.5 month.

Hand Balm Aesop// Night Oil Origins// Lip Balm Nuxe// Facial Mist Tromborg// Face Cream Embryolisse
These are some of my winter skincare essentials and some of them I really can’t live without. Especially the lip balm from Nuxe is a life changer. It rehydrates even the most dry and chapped lips and is a real life saver during the wintertime.
The Embryolisse face cream has been a staple of mine since I bought my first tube of it on my first trip to Paris back in 2012. It is great for all skin types and goes well under makeup.
The night oil from Origins is a new favorite of mine, but has definitely come to stay! It gives my face life and has really helped clearing it up.
When it comes to hands I have really been loving the Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm lately. It just does wonders. Nothing more to say about that.
Last but not least I love to use the rose water facial mist from Tromborg. It calms the skin as well as hydrating it and I love to use it throughout the day as a quick ‘pick-me-up’.
Right now I am dreaming about white tones. Perfect for warmer spring days or summer (or if you want to dissapear completely in the snow that covers Copenhagen at the moment).

Last thursday (on the 19th) it was my birthday and I met a couple of friends for lunch. I had such a nice day surrounded by family and friends and I couldn’t have asked for more. I can’t believe I am 20 years old now! Time flies by fast. This was what I wore. A classic outfit kept in blue tones including my new skirt from Filippa K which I bought on sale.
